Paint Department Head

Description

Our Livingston location has an immediate opening for a Paint Department Head! If interested in becoming an integral member of the Kenyon Noble team, please apply online or in the store! Previous experience with paint is helpful. Kenyon Noble will provide training. You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue. As well as mixing & matching paint, helping customers find their paint colors & products to complete their painting projects. Additional responsibilities include communication with vendor/supplier reps, maintaining proper stock levels, inventory, pricing, merchandising, and departmental maintenance when necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and identify customer needs
  • Explain products and services to customers
  • Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
  • Enter and process customer orders- Investigate and resolve customer issues
  • Retrieve material from shelves and pallets, lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Tint paint, therefore, must be able to distinguish the difference between colors
  • Operate a computer and communicate via phone
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints
  • Positive attitude

Wages start at $19+, Based on experience. Flexible shift schedule, as well as potential weekend availability for special events. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
