With divisions in roof and floor trusses, Ready-Mix concrete, brick, block and tile, as well as lumber and hardware, Kenyon Noble marketing engages a broad and diverse spectrum of customers & markets. The Kenyon Noble family is a tight knit group of individuals working towards a common goal of providing the best customer service, top-quality goods and overall experience to our customers. We are currently seeking an individual to join our company’s in-house Advertising and Marketing Team to help us grow our Kenyon Noble brand.

Job Description:

The Marketing & Graphic Designer will be working with the Marketing Team to help maintain the Kenyon Noble brand. Creativity and knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a must when assisting with ad designs, sale flyer layouts, color correcting, and clipping product images. Kenyon Noble is heavily involved in the community and hosting events — the Marketing Team is responsible for ensuring accurate delivery of our branding, creating marketing materials, strategic placement of store products, and assisting with event operations as needed. This position is a FULL-TIME position of 40+ hours per work week 8am - 5pm. This position may require working later hours and some weekends as company & team events dictate, overtime is provided in such cases.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Think creatively with ability to develop new design concepts, blog ideas, and marketing materials
  • Receive people professionally in the office or via phone calls
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of company’s products, services, and policies
  • Experience creating e-newsletters and writing blogs
  • Helping with set up and tear down of events and staffing
  • Documenting events with on-site photography 
  • Ad creation and design
  • Assist with strategic marketing projects
  • Maintain the mailing list
  • Stay current with changes, developments, and new technologies in the graphic arts and advertising field through continuing education, professional journals, and blogs, etc.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and advertising criteria
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Marketing or Graphic Design
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience locally in marketing or design field
  • PC proficient
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with video creation
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with website development and data entry
  • Experience with both print & digital mediums
  • Work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Prioritize tasks and manage varied project workloads
  • Knowledge of production and file preparation for print
  • Ability to pivot and maintain several projects at any given time
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate & present ideas in a team environment
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Google Suite experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
